Step1.Warming up Before class: Watch a video: <Asia counties> Review the countries. T: There are many countries in the world. We have learned some of them. Look at the map of the world. They’re the US, the UK, Australia, China, Japan. As you know I want to travel around the world. Do you like travelling? Today let’s travel with my travel book and finish this travel book. 板书贴图片,学习:a travel book Step 2. Presentation T: First , let’s open my travel book. What country will we go first? 板书贴图片:Australia Watch a video about Australia Play a game: True or false. T:You’ll read some sentences about Australia. Try to judge:true or false. You may read it together. And then if you knows, please hands up. You’ll find many things in Australia. Sport-lovers will like Australian football games. People in Australia don’t like visitors. You will also like the city-Sydney. You will like pandas. Sport-lovers will like table tennis. Australian football is very popular in Australia. New York is a city in Australia. You will love kangaroos and koalas. T:Here is a passage ,can you find any mistakes in it? T: You all did a very good job.If we want to write something about a country,we can describe it from some aspects,for example,animals,cities,sport,places and weather.(边说边贴板书)Here are three mind-maps from you.(展示三位同学的思维导图)I think you all know Australia well. T:Here is another passage about Australia.Which one do you think better?Why? Ss:... T:Yes, there are more adjective words in the second passage, such as interesting,cute, beautiful,nice and so on. T:What adjective words can we use to describe animals/sports/cities/places/food /weather? S:... Tip1:The proper use of adjectives can make the article more vivid. To the UK. T:Now, let’s go back to my travel book.And let’s have a look ,what country will we go next?---The UK. (1)Enjoy some pictures. T:Let’s enjoy some pictures about the UK. Who is the lovely boy from the UK? S:Harry Potter. Finish the sentences. About conjunctive words. T:We should use some conjunctive words in our passage.For example, but represents a turning point. And there are many other words that are juxtaposed,such as also, too, and, either.Some words express cause and effect,for example,because.There are some other conjunctive words,such as first, next, then, finally,like and for example.(板书) Fill in the blanks T:Let’s try to use the conjunctive words to fill in the blanks. Tip2:The ingenious use of connectives and insert can make the article more hierarchical. Read and order T:This article is written about the UK, but there’s something wrong with its order.Please read in silent, and try to give them the right order. Talk about the head ,body and ending of a passage. Finish the mind-map of the UK. Step3.Consolidation Enjoy some pictures about China. Ask and answer. Tip3:The use of different types of sentence patterns can make the article more rich. Write a passage about China.(Review the three tips) Step4.Homework 1. 整堂课按照之前的预设,到写作这一环节下课铃声就响了,教学任务基本完成。课后,我静下心来在仔细推敲了一下,觉得有一下几点可以改进:一、“To the UK”中的两篇文章可以预先作为导学案给学生读一读,课堂上可能就一会出现一段时间的冷场;二、学生小组合作绘制the UK的思维导图时花费了较长的时间,原因有两个:1、平时组织学生小组合作学习的机会比较少,在分工合作这一方面的能力有所欠缺;2、学生花在画的时间比练习说的时间多了许多,所以可以考虑让学生课前把大的框架搭好。三、最后一个环节时间上明显不够,可以稍作修改,索性改成Brain Storm,这个游戏在平时课堂中经常用,可以训练孩子的发散性思维能力,还能调节课堂氛围。 最后,在课堂中还是有一些意外的生成,学生在展示mind-map时,运用了相对一致的句式,而且不是太地道,借此正好引导学生注意我给他们的Tip3:运用不同的句式分类描述,可以让文章更加丰富!比起我生硬地总结效果更佳,这就是课堂中的意外收获吧。 这堂写作课,我还是比较保守地给学生搭起了写作的大框架,相当于是基于课文文本的写作指导,我觉得这比较适合我的学生目前的写作水平。
