Step1. Warming up
1. Greeting
2. Sing a song: You are my sunshine.
3. Revision: (1). Say something about Tom.
(2). Work in pairs.
A: What do you usually do …?
B: I usually …
A: What does … usually do …?
B: He/She usually …
Step2. Presentation
1. 出示人物图片“霍尔姆”
T: What does he usually do?
Ss: He usually jumps.
T: Does he jump high?
Ss: Yes, he does. He jumps high.
(Learn “jump high跳得高”)
2. 出示人物图片“刘翔”
(1). T: What does he usually do?
Ss: He usually runs.
T: Does he run fast?
S: Yes, he does.
(Learn “run fast跑得快”)
(2). 出示人物图片“罗雪娟、王濛”
T: Does … run fast?
Ss: No, she doesn’t. she swims/skates fast.
(3). Work in pairs:
A: Does …?
B: Yes, he/she does. No, he/she doesn’t.
3. 出示“叶璇”
(1). T: Look at these three girls. What are they doing?
Ss: They are walking, listening, writing.
T: Do they do carefully?
Ss: Yes.
(Learn “carefully小心地,仔细地”)
(2). Work in pairs:
A: Does …?
B: Yes, he/she does. No, he/she doesn’t.
4. T: Look at Yuanyuan. She writes carefully.
(1). T: Is she speaking/standing?
Ss: No. She’s sitting.
T: She sits quietly.
(Learn “sit quietly安静地坐着”)
(2). 温馨提醒:When you’re writing, you should sit quietly and write carefully.
5. 出示啦啦队人物图片
(1). T: Do they sit quietly?
Ss: No.
T: The man is speaking. He speaks loudly. (Learn “speak loudly大声说话”)
