Step　1　Warm　up

1.Play a game: Word puzzles

Just now we listened to a song about jobs. Next let’s play a game: Word puzzles. Following words are all about jobs. Eg. Worker   come   run   key

 Eg. Look at this word. It’s a word of the job. It’s begin with w. The first letter is from come. The next letter is from run. The last letter is from key. What is it? It’s worker.

1) nurse  bus    care  she

Look at this word. It’s also a word of the job.. It’s begin with n. The first letter is from bus. The next letter is from care. The last letter is from she. What is it? It’s nurse.

2)driver   world   give    girl

Look at this word. It’s also about a job. The first letter is from world. The next letter is from give. The last letter is from girl. What is it? It’s driver.

2. Good. they’re words about jobs.

Just like my job is a teacher.

You must want to be different jobs in the future. Except these jobs, do you know other jobs?

T: Pay attention to these words. We plus r or er to the verbs, then it becomes a noun. Eg. The verb of waiter is wait. Do you know following word’s verbs?

Step　3　Presentation

1.让学生用相同的方法说出下列动词所对应的名词：sing, dance, write, play

1) T: Then let’s turn these verbs into nouns. We can plus r or er to the verb. What’s the noun of write?

Write—writer 作家

What is a writer? Choose the right answer. Do you know any writers?鲁迅，巴金，冰心 They write stories for us. Who’s she? She’s 冰心. She writes stories for children.

2) What’s the noun of dance?

Dance—dancer  舞蹈家

Look at this handsome man. He’s Lang Lang. He’s playing the piano.

5. Great, here are our dreams. Miss Li is asking the students about their dreams. Look at the picture, can you ask some questions about the picture?

Answer the first three questions.

T: These are the children’s dreams. Then what are your dreams?

Please work in groups of two. Talk about your dreams with your partner. You can use these sentences:

     A: What do you want to do?

     B: I want to…

You can also add your own words. Then write down your and your friends’ dreams on exercise 3 on the exercise paper.

2. Great, boys and girls. You do a very good job. I know everyone of you has a great dream. You must want to be different jobs, maybe to be an astronaut or a dentist.
