一、上课内容:
小学《英语》六上 Unit 8 Chinese New Year (Story time)
二、教学目标:
1.学生能在情境中掌握单词和词组: fireworks, a lion dance, red packets, get, Hong Kong, next week, food, tangyuan, Chinese New Year’s Eve, Chinese New Year’s Day
2.学生能在情境中理解be going to的用法,并能尝试运用be going to表达“计划”和“准备”。
3. 通过本节课的学习,学生能够有步骤地阅读和理解正确理解story time内容,并用正确的语音语调朗读。
4.学生能够了解更多的春节文化及其英文表达,并尝试着表达。
5.学生能够感知了解英文电子邮件的格式。

Step 1:Greeting:
T: What day/date is today?
What’s the weather like today?
Was it rainy yesterday?
Step 2 Pre-reading:
1. Let’s guess and learn:
T: Boys and girls! Today I’m going to teach you some new and interesting things. What are they? Let’s guess and learn!
听声音猜出fireworks和firecrackers
根据描述猜出red packets和couplets
They are red. Your parents put money in them and give them to you.
They are red too. Chinese people stick them on the two sides of the door.
T: Look at these presents. What holiday comes to your mind?

When we talk about our plans, we can use be going to.
7. Read the last paragraph
T: Anna shares her plan with Su Hai. She wants to know about Su Hai’s plan. So, at last, she asked a question. Can you read?

Step 4 Post reading:
1. T: Now, we know much about Anna’s plan and about Chinese New Year in Hong Kong. Actually, different places have different customs about Chinese New Year. Let’s know more about Chinese New Year.
文字稿:Chinese New Year is the most important holiday in China. We also call it Spring Festival. People have big dinners with family. In south of China, people make and eat tangyuan. But in north of China, tangyuan is more popular. Many Chinese people paste couplets, reversed Fu and paper-cutting. In Guangzhou and Hong Kong, people also go to flower fairs and buy flowers. They believe flowers can bring good luck. There are many temple fairs and lantern shows in different cities or towns. People go home and get together with family. They feel love and share happiness. Spring Festival is a holiday full of love and joy.
Home work:
1. Imitate and read the story, complete the exercise on P80.
2. Retell the story to your parents
3. Find out more about Chinese New Year’s Day and learn how to say in English.
4. Write down your plans for Chinese New Year.
