Step1. Warm-up

1. Greeting

2. Play a letter game:

(1) 复习字母e, n, y, r, a, w

(2) 根据字母对应的图片进行字母填空,引出New YearNew Years Day并新授

(3) On New Years Day, we can say Happy New Year to each other.学习Happy New Year.

3. Sing a song Happy New Year .

4. Brain storm你知道在新年这天人们都做什么吗?We can...引出get presents.

Step3. Story time.

1. 门铃响起Who is he?

 Lets say Happy New Year to him together.

2. Uncle John brings some presents.

Skim and answer: How many boxes? What clolours are they?

教师根据学生的回答,出示相应颜色的礼物盒卡片

3. Watch and match: Who is it for? Whats in it?

 

 

 

 

4. (出示图2-3)Think and match: What do they say?

 

 

5. Work in pairs:出示图4-5,想一想Uncle JohnMike之间会发生什么对话呢?两人一组进行对话创编。

6. Reading time

 

听图1录音,回答问题Hes Uncle John.

根据提示一起说Hello, Uncle John. Happy New Year.

 

 

学生浏览故事图片,迅速找到答案并回答Three boxes. Yellow, green and blue.

 

 

学生观看视频,将礼物盒与人物匹配,并回答问题:

Yellow: Its for Helen. Its a doll.

Green: Its for Mike. Its a ball.

Blue: Its for Tim. Its a robot.

 

(1)学生根据图片,将所给句子排列成一段通顺的对话;

(2)跟着录音朗读,注意语音语调。

 

根据要求,模仿图2-3进行对话创编,并与同桌进行对话表演。

2. New Years Day is the time to have fun and to share. Uncle John gives presents to the children. The children also have a present for Uncle John. Look, whats that?

Lets say: This is for you, Uncle John.

Lets listen to the CD together. OK?
