1.学生能通过表格梳理文本人物的周末活动,初步听懂、会读、会说at weekends, chat with, visit parents,What do/does... do at weekends?等周末活动类词汇和句型;

2.学生能在文本具体的语境中,初步感知频度副词usually, often, sometimes, always的用法并尝试运用;

3.学生能在探究问题的过程中,理解文本,用正确的语音语调朗读对话,并以小组合作的方式交流Mike, Helen和Su Yang的周末活动;

4.学生能通过对文本人物周末的学习,描绘出自己理想的周末,并能向朋友家人描绘出来。

Step1. Pre-reading

T: Boys and girls, you sing very well.Now,please tell me:

(1) How many days are there in a week?

(2) What are they?

We can count together.

T:Well done!

We go to school from Monday to Friday. We call these daysweekdays.We dont go to school on Saturdays and Sundays.

Saturdays and Sundays,we also call them weekends.

T:Today ,were going to learn to Unit7 At weekends(揭题)

T:So what do you do at weekends?

You can answer like this:

I usually......Because......

Try to guess:

Q: What do I do at weekends? You can answer like“You......at weekends.”

教授新词:Boys and girls,how can we read this word”at”?

Yes, at. How about this one? “chair”

How can we read this new word?  ch at=chat   And this one Internet

And here because i is pronounced /i/, so you should read like this:chat on the Internet

T: I always visit my grandparents.

   I usually play with my dog.

   I often go to the cinema.

   I sometimes chat on the Internet.

T: You know my weekends now. What do you thing of my weekends?
