（Period 4 Review and Prewriting）

教学目标：

1.学生能熟练运用句型Where will you/he/she ...? How long will you/...等特殊疑问句对travel plan进行问答，从而掌握旅行计划应该包含哪些方面。

2.学生能熟练运用I/You/He/She will...来描述自己和他人的假期；同时能够围绕所读内容进行简短叙述或简单交流，表达个人的情感、态度和观点。

3.学生能通过学习自主归纳总结出习作的评价标准，并能以评促学，提升自己的学习能力。

4.学生能结合评价标准，模仿范文的结构和内容进行习作练习，并尝试使用描述性词语添加细节，使内容丰富、生动。

5.学生能够明白制定计划的重要性，了解计划应该是全面的、有序的、合理的；并能为之行动起来。

6.结合中国谚语文化“凡事预则立，不预则废”，让学生明白汉语表达句中的“预”即英语中的making plans，提升学生的跨文化意识。

教学过程：

Step1. Lead in.

T: Good morning, boys and girls. Today we’ll go on our creative writing activities. We have writen about Being a good student， Being a little explorer and Being a big dreamer. And most of you did good jobs. Today we’ll learn to write about Being a little traveller.引出本期创意写作活动的主题Being a little traveller.并齐读。

Step2.Let’s review:(About the children’s and Bobby’s plans.)

T: Before travelling, first we should make a travel plan. All the children made a travel plan.Do you know about their travel plans?

1.Please choose one and tell about his/her travel plan. Who can try?

Ss: I’ll tell about ...’s travel plan. He/She will... I think he/she will have a good time/...

2. T: From their plans, we know we can talk about our travel plans with...

(板书：Where? How? With whom? When? How long? What?)

T: From Bobby’s plans, we know if we have some plans or many things to do, we can use “First, Next, Then” to make the things in order.(板贴First, Next, Then，make...in order)

Step3.Let’s ask:(About Miss Miao’s plan)

1. T: I want to be a traveller too. So I have a travel plan. What do you want to know about it?

S1: Where will you go?

T: Look. This city is on the mountain. So it has a name “Mountain City”. The weather here is sometimes foggy, so people also call it “Foggy City”. It’s very famous in China and in the world. Guess, where is it?

Ss: ...(引出Chongqing)

T: So I’ll go to Chongqing. Next question.

S2: How will you go there?

T: Look, I have two choices, one is the plane, the other is the train. Please read and compare carefully. Then give me some suggestions, OK?

T: I’ll take the plane to Chongqing. Because it will take me two hours. But if I take the train, it will take me ten hours. So I’ll take the plane. OK, next question?

S3: Who will you go with?

T: Of course, with my family. Next?

S4: When will you go there?

S5: How long will you stay there?

T: I’ll get there on July 6^th and come back on July 10^th. So How long will I stay there?

Ss: For five days.

T: Yes, you are right. I’ll stay in Chongqing for five days. Any other questions?

S6: What will you do there?

T: Oh, let’s watch a video. After watching, you can guess what I will do there.

T: Yes. Chongqing is a paradise of foodies. You’ll find Chongqing hotpot and many nice snacks there.

T: Other ideas? Look, in Chongqing there are many famous culture streets like Shibati, Hongyadong and Ciqikou. You can see very special and nice view there, as beautiful as Gongqijun’s manga. So I will visit some culture streets in Chongqing.

2. T: Now you know a lot about my travel plan. Let’s recall it.

(1) About “Where? When? Who? How long? How?” 根据学生的复述，出示要求Use conjunctions and prepositions.（to make the details together)

(2) About “What?”根据学生的复述，出示要求Make...in order. Give examples.

3. What do you think of my travel plan? Do you like my travel plan?

Step4.Let’s talk:(About your plans)

T: Now you know my travel plan. This is a mind map of my plan. Can you make a travel plan like this. Three tips for you: First, you should cover all details. Next, you can use “First, Next, Then...” to make your activities in order. Then, you can give some examples, for example, places: Hongyadong, Ciqikou. OK? Go!出示要求Cover all detail. Give examples.

2. T: If you have finished your mind map, you can talk about it with your friends. Pay attention, when you are talking, you should listen carefully and give some suggestions, to help your friends perfect the plans. OK?
