Step1:Greeting and warm up

1. Greeting

T: Class begins.

T: Good afternoon, boys and girls.

S: Good afternoon, Miss Ren.

T: How are you today?

S: Im fine, thank you. And you?

T: Im fine, too. Sit down, please.

T: Today, we will still learn something about our home. Are you ready?

S: Yes.

Step2: Presentation and practice

1. Review words (快速闪现,记忆物品的位置并回答问题)

T: First, let’s play a game. Please look at the rule carefully, you should remember the position quickly and answer my question where are they? Are you ready?  

S: Yes.

T: First, how many rooms do they have?

S: Four.

T: What are they?

S: They are bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen.

T: I think you know these rooms very well. Do you know some other rooms? Today, I want to introduce you some other rooms in our home. First, let’s look at this picture. Can you guess what room is it?

S: Its a study.

T: Yes, very good. What does study mean? It means…

S: 书房

T: OK, now, please read after me study study.

T: Do you have a study? Let’s think about it. What do you have in the study?

S: Books, pencils, chairs, pictures, bookcase

S: A bed, a table, a chair, a clock, some toys , some books and a bookcase.

T: Can you guess what do I do in my bedroom?

S: You can sleep and read books.

T: Yes, I always read books in my bedroom.

A: Look at my bedroom.

B: How nice. What do you have in your bedroom?

T: Can you talk about my bedroom with your partners?(pair work)

T: I think you can talk about my bedroom fluently. This is a passage about my bedroom. Let’s read it together.

I have a bed, a table, a chair, a clock, three toys and some books in my bedroom.

The clock is on the table. The books are beside the door.

T: I still have other three rooms? Can you guess what are in these three rooms and what can I do in them? You can talk with your partners.

S: Nice, clean, beautiful
