Step1. Warming up.

1. Greetings

      T:Good afternoon,boys and girls.

      S:Good afternoon,Miss Zhu.

2. Lets playMagic eyes

T:Whats the words about?

Ss:Family.

Step2.Presentation.

1.新授Cartoon time.

(1)Today, our friends are talking about their family too.Who are they?

 Look at the picture, where are they?

A. at school  B. at Sams home      

T: Yes, they are at Sams home. Here are four Sams family pictures,can you find their name?(新授 name)

(2) Watch and answer

 T: Lett watch the video.

Who are they? (分别叫什么?)

(3) T: They are all JohnwhyCan you guess?(用中文猜一猜)

      Culture tips

In foreign countries, to show honour...

      In our country, to show respect...

      (让学生初步感受中外文化差异)

(4) Whats the relationship between themRead the story and find the answers.

T: Look! Who is he? Yes, He is Johns grandpa. Look at Sams face,how to read the sentence? Is he happy,proud or sad? Can you try?

 S: Sam很开心,很自豪

 T: Yes, Sam is happy and proud

(1). Follow the tape.

   T: Do you like the cartoon? Its so interesting. Let’s follow the tape, OK?

(2).Read together.

Step3. Consolidation and production

1 Act out the cartoon.

2Writing time

(1).T:Look,boys and girlswhats this?

       T:Yes, its a family tree.Look! This is my family tree. Do you have any questions? Use these sentences.

    --Who is that man/woman?

--Is he/she...?

(2) .Can you try to introduce your family tree?

(3) .I love my family very much, so I write something about my family. Can you try?(指导写作)

Step4.Homework.

   T: OK, boys and girls, its time for rest.

  1. Read Cartoon time after the tape.

2. Introduce your family to your friends.

3.Finish your writing.
