Step 1 Pre-reading

1.Greetings

What’s the weather like today? What date is it today?

What holiday is coming?

2.I like holidays. Do you like holidays? What’s your favourite holiday?

I like summer holiday best,(板书） because there’s a long holiday in summer. I can go traveling.I have a dream,I want to travel around the world.There are many interesting countries, cities and places in the world.

3.Play a game:Brain storm

I’ll give you a key word.Can you say something about it .The more the better.

“country”、 “city”、 “places”

4.Watch a video :A travel book of cities.

5.Talk about Hong Kong , Taipei.

Step 2 While-reading

1`.There are four children, they’re talking about their plans too. What do you want to know?(学生说老师板书）
