三、教学过程:
Step1. Before reading
1. Greeting
2. Learn to say
(1). Show the topic: “Our animal friends”
(2). T show a picture of a dinosaur and say: “I have an animal friend. It’s a dinosaur. Do you have an animal friend?”
Ss learn the sentence “I have an animal friend. It is a …”
(3). Ss learn the sentence “ It has …” and try to introduce the features of a dinosaur. (Review the words: an arm, a leg, a foot…)
Step2. While reading
1. Listen, match and say: What animal friends do they have?
2. Read, write and say: What features do the animals have?
(1). T gives a model about how to finish the table
(2). Ss finish the tables in groups.
(3). Every student in the group says one sentence to introduce the features of the animals.
3. Read the text after the computer.
4. Try to retell the text.
Step3. After reading
Learn to write.
1. Sum up the main sentences of the text.
2. Try to write

1. Read and repeat the text
